Miki Furuhata makes pottery in Nagano, surrounded by beautiful mountains. She hopes to bring a slight change in ordinary flow of life. She mixes different kind of glazes and enjoys drips and gradations. She let the natural forces such as gravity and power of fire do the work for her glazes.
