Torimoto Glass studio makes glasswares in mountain side of Kyoto. He makes his own kiln, gathers ingredients from beach (glass is basically made out of sand), and does a lot of experiments using glass and its ingredients. He has come up with a perfect formula for heat resistant glass(though not all are heat resistant, so please look at description below).
