Hiroshi Hanzawa makes his pottery in Gifu where traditionally pottery is main industry in town. They are called Minoyaki which Oribe, and Shino glazes were invented. He uses wheel-thrown technique and paints on the top of his pieces. He uses variety of glazes such as Oribe, Kohiki, Blue, and Red.
