In Kamahachi kiln, Mr. Mutsumi Ohashi makes pottery in a rural area of Yamanashi, surrounded by beautiful nature. His pieces are made of all natural ingredients such as clay, glaze, and fire. He makes his own glaze from ashes from wood-firing.
He fires Yakishime pieces (no glaze) in wood-firing kiln, and then he glazes natural ash to fire in kerosene kiln. Yakishime and glazed pieces give variety of texture and color that make his pieces even more interesting.
Futamono can be used as accessory case, salt container and etc.
