Ryutagama is one of the well known kiln in Japan located in Karatsu, Shiga. Kenta Nakasato is a grandson of master potter Takashi Nakazato. He makes Karatsu-wares using wheel thrown technique that has been passed down for generations in Karatsu. They use wood fired kiln as well as gas fired. They have great tradition and produces beautiful daily use tablewares.
