Ryutagama is one of the well known kiln in Japan located in Karatsu, Shiga. Takashi Nakasato is a master potter, who has been making pottery for over 60 years. He has great experience making and teaching pottery around the world. He makes Karatsu-wares using wheel thrown technique that has been passed down for generations in Karatsu. They use wood fired kiln as well as gas fired. They have great tradition and produces beautiful daily use tablewares.
