Toru Kikuchi makes pottery in Kasama, Ibaraki. His style of pottery is very unique. He first choose the weight of clay, and then start making shapes as inspirations come to his mind. So, each pieces differ from each other and never the same. His pieces are more of art but it has utility for food.
This piece is fixed with traditional Kintsugi technique. Gold glaze is covering crack or chip, so please do not use microwave as it sparkle and burns to black.
