Masato Yamawaki makes pottery in Southern part of Japan called Miyazaki. As he was growing up, pottery was always close to him as his mother was a pottery dealer. After learning at an art school and having worked for a while in Tokyo, he finally decided to start making pottery back in his country Miyazaki. He uses many different materials and glazes to show his passion for the pottery art.
